At The Hands Of The Storm

The landscape of Iowa is one of the most manipulated-by-humans in the United States. This composition represents how we, modern-day humans, grid out our cities with the “electric-green,” and deforest entire environments as nature tries to hold on as weather intensifies with storms and flooding increasingly frequent.

I pull some influence from other artists, most notably Salvador Dali’s work, in the surreal imagery I create. The repetition of elements in the composition help to reinforce the sense of depth in the piece.

This is a high-quality scan of the original hand-pulled print, re-printed on heavy cardstock, then hand-signed and trimmed ready-to-frame in a standard 11x14 frame. It would be a nice addition to any space in your home.
